Carpenter
The Steamship Authority is seeking to fill a full-time, permanent union position in the Engineering and Maintenance Department of Carpenter.
Qualifications and certifications required: The applicant should have graduated from vocational technical high school or institute with a focus on carpentry or have 2 to 5 years of experience in general carpentry. Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's License and should also hold a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor License, Construction Supervisor License and Lead Certification Certificate. Applicants must be fully skilled and able to work from sketches and plans and be knowledgeable of the current Commonwealth of Massachusetts building code standards. The starting pay is $38.31 per hour.
