Cooling Tower Resources (CTR) is a leading manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of cooling tower replacement parts and industrial components. From our 100,000 sq ft Baytown, TX facility — with additional locations in Louisiana and Oklahoma — we supply 17,000+ SKUs to refineries, petrochemical plants, and power generation facilities across North America. We ship fast. We ship accurately. And we need a Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead the operation that makes that possible.
The Role
You will own CTR’s complete shipping and receiving operation — managing outbound LTL, full truckload, flatbed, and oversized freight; leading the warehouse team; and coordinating our same-day Quick Ship program that sets us apart from every competitor in the market.
What You Will Do
· Manage all daily outbound shipments across LTL, FTL, flatbed, and oversized freight modes
· Book carriers, shop rates, and negotiate freight pricing on spot and contract lanes
· Supervise, schedule, train, and develop the warehouse team
· Own CTR’s same-day Quick Ship program — coordinating emergency and priority orders from receipt to carrier pickup
· Oversee all receiving — verifying quantities, inspecting materials, resolving freight claims
· Manage project logistics for multi-truckload deliveries to refineries and industrial sites
· Coordinate daily with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Inventory Control
· Drive continuous improvement in shipping accuracy, freight cost, delivery performance, and safety
What You Bring
· 5+ years of warehouse and shipping management experience in industrial distribution or manufacturing
· Proven experience managing LTL, full truckload, flatbed, and oversized freight
· Experience with ERP systems, shipping software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
· Forklift operator certification or ability to certify within 30 days
· Working knowledge of DOT freight regulations and OSHA warehouse safety standards
· Strong leadership skills — you develop people and hold them accountable
· Experience in cooling towers, FRP products, industrial supply, construction materials, or heavy equipment distribution is a plus
