THE ROLE
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Thom Browne's U.S. logistics operations and serves as a key liaison between North America and the central Logistics team in Switzerland. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, supporting customs and compliance activities, maintaining strong relationships with warehouse and transportation partners, and ensuring seamless operational support across the business. Working cross-functionally with Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Design, Visual Merchandising, PR, Marketing, and Finance, this individual will help drive efficient logistics operations while supporting store projects, inventory initiatives, and special business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to oversee warehouse operations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and operational support
- Partner with freight forwarders, couriers, customs brokers, and warehouse providers to ensure timely shipment execution
- Support import/export activities, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Prepare and maintain shipping and export documentation
- Investigate and resolve transportation, customs, and delivery issues
- Manage claims related to lost or damaged shipments and coordinate reimbursement activities
- Conduct regular warehouse visits and provide hands-on operational support as needed
- Assist with annual physical inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Support logistics projects, store openings, events, runway shipments, photoshoots, and other special business initiatives
- Collaborate closely with global partners in Switzerland to ensure process alignment and operational continuity
- Support reporting, compliance, and SOX-related logistics controls
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field required
- 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
- Experience with import/export procedures, customs regulations, and transportation documentation.
- Proficiency with SAP required
- Experience working with warehouses, distribution centers, and third-party logistics providers
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SOX controls and compliance requirements preferred
- Italian language proficiency is a plus
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 45 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout warehouse and operational environments as needed
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately once per month
- Ability to support annual physical inventory counts and other hands-on operational activities
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- Competitive compensation. Salary Range is $66,400 - $72,000 + target bonus. Please note that compensation will be offered based on relevant skills and experience
