Role Description The Logistics Supervisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Plantation, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees daily logistics and Customs compliance operations, including routing, and coordinating shipments to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective performance. The Logistics Supervisor leads and develops team members, assigns tasks, monitors productivity, and enforces safety and compliance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inventory accuracy, reconciling stock levels, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining strong communication with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, implementing process improvements, and supporting continuous enhancement of operational efficiency and customer service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading teams, coaching staff, and managing performance.
- Operations management capabilities, including coordination of logistics activities, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Experience with US Customs, supply chain, or distribution environments, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency with logistics and warehouse management software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Plantation, FL, managing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
