Job Summary
Are you a strategic technology leader who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and engineering enablement? We're seeking a Director, IT and Infrastructure to drive agility, scalability, and resilience across our enterprise and production environments.
In this role, you'll lead the infrastructure that powers both internal IT systems and customer-facing production applications, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence while enabling fast-moving engineering workflows and continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Infrastructure & Operations Leadership
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability of enterprise and production environments
• Oversee production operations with a focus on observability, resilience, and proactive incident management
🔹 DevOps & CI/CD Enablement
• Drive adoption of DevOps and Agile practices across infrastructure and operations teams
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to enable CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and environment provisioning
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks to improve consistency and deployment velocity
🔹 Engineering Partnership
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security, and Cloud Operations teams
• Align infrastructure strategy with product delivery goals and technology roadmaps
• Promote operational excellence through observability, performance optimization, and postmortem-driven learning
🔹 Strategic Planning & Governance
• Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure modernization strategy
• Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and cloud optimization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational requirements
🔹 Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineers, cloud administrators, and IT operations professionals
• Foster a culture of ownership, speed, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships
What We're Looking For:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
✔ 10+ years of infrastructure, operations, or cloud experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
✔ Deep expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
✔ Strong background in Linux/Windows administration, networking, cloud platforms, and automation
✔ Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, and modern DevOps toolchains
✔ Proven success leading cross-functional teams within SaaS, cloud, or high-growth technology environments
✔ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical strategy into business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting customer-facing production environments with high availability requirements
• Strong partnership experience with Software Engineering and SRE organizations
• Knowledge of security frameworks, ITIL principles, and automation-first operations
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices
• Experience managing distributed and remote teams
