Position: Logistics Manager

Base Salary: $100k -$110k based on experience
Job Description:
The Logistics Manager will oversee all field logistics, delivery execution, and territory-based operational activities to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient product movement across the market. This role is responsible for leading the logistics support function, coordinating daily distribution activities, maintaining strong customer and account relationships, and driving continuous improvement in operational performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader with a strong background in logistics, team management, and customer-facing field operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and development to the Logistics Support Team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
- Direct day-to-day delivery operations such as dispatch planning, route optimization, scheduling, and workload distribution
- Conduct field evaluations, ride-alongs, and regular team check-ins to reinforce performance expectations and support employee development
- Oversee fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, safety protocols are followed, and all transportation compliance requirements are met
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational scalability
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards, including product handling, customer service, and payment collection where applicable
- Manage reconciliation processes including cash handling, reporting accuracy, and adherence to internal controls
- Support key account relationships through in-field execution such as deliveries, pickups, merchandising support, and event participation
- Track and manage promotional materials, samples, event supplies, and other field assets
- Partner closely with Sales, Inventory, Distribution, and Operations teams to ensure aligned execution across all initiatives
- Maintain accurate operational records, reporting systems, CRM updates, and documentation standards
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and transportation guidelines
- Assist with additional logistics and operational projects as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, account management, or customer-facing field roles
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and team development capabilities
- Proven ability to manage routing, scheduling, and operational workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM/ERP systems preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Must be eligible to obtain any required state licenses or permits
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years
- Ability to pass background screening
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically active field work as required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $100k–$110k, commensurate with experience
- 11 paid holidays annually
