Regional Vice President of Operations – Telecommunications Infrastructure

An established and rapidly growing infrastructure services organization is seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations to lead large-scale telecommunications operations across North Texas and surrounding markets.
This is a high-impact executive leadership role overseeing field operations, construction, service delivery, maintenance, and network performance across a complex multi-market region. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, regional growth, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while leading large operational teams in a fast-paced telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day regional operations across construction, field services, installations, maintenance, network operations, and service assurance.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve service reliability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational policies.
- Support major infrastructure initiatives including fiber deployments, network modernization, and capacity expansion projects.
Regional Performance & Strategy
- Own regional P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost management.
- Analyze operational KPIs and performance data to drive continuous improvement and optimize resource allocation.
- Partner with executive leadership to align regional initiatives with broader organizational growth objectives.
- Provide operational reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations at executive level.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational leadership teams across multiple markets.
- Foster a culture centered around accountability, safety, operational excellence, and customer-first delivery.
- Support workforce planning and organizational scalability to meet aggressive growth targets.
Customer Experience & Service Delivery
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance performance to ensure SLA compliance and high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, customer support, finance, fleet, HSE, HR, and sales teams to improve operational outcomes and resolve escalations effectively.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience within telecommunications infrastructure, broadband, fiber, wireless, or cable environments.
- Proven track record leading large multi-market field operations teams.
- Strong understanding of telecom construction, network operations, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated success managing P&L responsibility, operational budgets, and performance metrics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout DFW, Houston, and East Texas.
Preferred Background
- Experience within high-growth telecom or fiber deployment environments.
- Background in FTTH, wireless infrastructure, and large-scale network expansion projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred; MBA advantageous.
