Production Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Salary Range: 65 – 75K
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented multitasker responsible for supporting the end-to-end production process for home accessories, with a focus on paper products such as stationery and celebration goods. This role partners closely with design, sales, factories, and logistics teams, acting as a key liaison to ensure products are developed, produced, and delivered on time and to specification.
- Support the full production lifecycle through to final delivery, including sourcing, manufacturing, and shipment coordination
- Manage order processing and track production timelines from overseas factories through delivery to customer distribution centers
- Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, factories, and logistics partners to ensure clear and timely communication on production status and delivery updates
- Partner with design and sales teams on product development, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer and brand requirements
- Review and interpret vendor manuals and retailer compliance guidelines to communicate production requirements to factories
- Coordinate sample development and submissions, ensuring timely delivery for internal review and customer approvals
- Maintain and organize sample inventory, including tracking systems and documentation
- Assist in shipping and logistics operations, including:
- Monitoring shipment status
- Reviewing and validating international shipping documentation
- Preparing documentation for domestic deliveries
- Support EDI processes and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with accounting to review invoices, purchase orders, and factory billings for accuracy
- Submit supplier invoices and production documentation on a timely, weekly basis
- Maintain production timelines, WIP (work-in-progress), and forecasting tools
- Provide regular status updates on projects, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions
- Perform related duties as assigned.

- Experience with product & inventory management, or EDI or AIMS preferred
- Familiarity with wholesale/import production processes is a plus
- Knowledge of international shipping, logistics, and U.S. import regulations is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Product Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred OR Associate’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience OR 2+ years of experience in production coordination, sourcing, or wholesale/import operations
Experience in home accessories, stationery, or consumer goods production is a plus
