Salary: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
How you'll make an impact in this role:

Deliver basic and advanced life support, including patient assessment, stabilization, and intervention in collaboration with physicians and Registered Nurses.

Implement and adhere to transport team protocols to guide clinical interventions and patient care.

Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition, treatment, and response to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and families on illness and therapeutic interventions; maintain and inspect transport equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Basic Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Paramedic.
- Paramedic credentialed from the Illinois Board Of Division of Emergency Medical Services and Highway Safety obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Emergency Medical Tech.
- Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
