A Forensic Services Project Coordinator will support the Nederveld team by assisting engineers and clients with coordinating site visits for forensic engineering and fire investigation assignments while also supporting intake operations.
This is a cross-functional role that requires contributing to both scheduling and intake workflows daily. The position serves as a key point of coordination between clients, engineers, external parties and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate assignment execution.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule site visits across multiple regions
- Align investigator availability, travel logistics, and client schedules
- Manage assignments from initial outreach through confirmation
- Adjust schedules in real time based on changes, delays, or conflicts
Intake & Customer Support
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and new assignments
- Collect and verify project details
- Enter and maintain accurate data in internal systems
- Manage and respond to inbox and phone activity
General Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with clients, engineers, and external parties
- Perform outbound follow-ups to secure scheduling confirmations
- Manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
- Document all activity accurately in internal systems
- Support team workload, including phones and intake coverage as needed
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical School in related field, High School Diploma, Home School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
- 3-4 years of professional office experience.
- Demonstrated success working in a deadline-driven environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours
- This is a full-time, in-office position.
- Standard hours for this position, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT., are required.
Compensation And Benefits
- Pay: $24.00/hour - $29.00/hour. Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, and abilities.

Physical Demands
