We are seeking a skilled Lead Concrete Finisher to work under our foreman, with the ability to independently lead a crew to finish slabs to our high company standards when the foreman is not present. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a foreman position for the right candidate who demonstrates leadership, reliability, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finish concrete with the crew to meet company expectations, with or without the foreman present.
- Perform basic layouts and demonstrate entry to moderate plan reading skills.
- Train and mentor new hires and crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork and skill development.
- Maintain a strong work ethic, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
- Clean driving record is required to have the potential to use a company truck.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a concrete finisher, with expertise in slab finishing.
- Ability to lead a crew independently and maintain company quality standards.
- Entry to moderate plan reading skills and proficiency in basic layouts.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Passion for teaching and training new team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
