Our client is seeking a strategic and hands‑on VP of IT Infrastructure to lead enterprise infrastructure operations, cloud strategy, and technology resiliency. This executive‑level role is ideal for an experienced IT leader who can balance long‑term vision with operational excellence while supporting a distributed, remote‑enabled organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall IT infrastructure strategy, including cloud, on‑premise, network, compute, storage, and disaster recovery
- Oversee infrastructure operations to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security across the enterprise
- Define and execute cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Establish standards, architecture, and governance for infrastructure platforms
- Partner with executive leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives
- Lead and develop infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams
- Own vendor management, contracts, and third‑party service relationships
- Ensure strong cybersecurity posture in partnership with security teams
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, forecasts, and capital planning
- Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior‑level infrastructure leadership
- Deep experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure architecture, and enterprise systems
- Proven success leading large, distributed infrastructure teams
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, resiliency, and regulatory considerations
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and business stakeholders
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining alignment with Columbus, Ohio stakeholders
