This role sits at the intersection of operations and analytics, with a focus on understanding cost drivers, improving efficiency, and supporting better decision-making across the organization.
Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain models to analyze end-to-end operational costs
- Analyze data across multiple workflows to identify trends, inefficiencies, and key cost drivers
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI to support leadership visibility
- Investigate variances and provide clear, data-backed explanations
- Support budgeting and forecasting through detailed cost analysis
- Assist in scenario modeling to evaluate cost optimization opportunities
- Maintain and validate cost data within internal systems
- Track and update key cost inputs, including vendor-related data
- Partner cross-functionally to align reporting with business objectives
- Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, data visibility, and process efficiency
Logistics Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or cost analytics
- Strong analytical skill set with the ability to work through large datasets
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on Power BI experience REQUIRED
- Experience working with ERP or financial systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
