Logistics Analyst
The Logistics Analyst supports the efficient movement of goods across the company's commerce network by analyzing transportation, inventory, and fulfillment data to optimize supply chain performance. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, and distribution teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and logistics expertise to ensure products reach customers accurately, quickly, and cost‑effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Create a data model to analyze end to end logistics costs
- Prepare regular cost reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Support initiatives to improve cost visibility and reporting accuracy
- Identify cost variances and provide explanations for discrepancies
- Supports budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for global logistics operations, providing actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collect, validate, and analyze logistics cost data across transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment
- Assist in tracking logistics expenses against budget and forecast targets
- Support cost modeling and scenario analysis for decision-making
- Ensure timely updates of freight rates, tariffs, and vendor charges
- Work with finance, procurement, and operations teams to align cost analysis with business objectives
- Work cross-functionally to analyze end‑to‑end supply chain performance across domestic and international manufacturing sites to identify cost‑savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Lead or assist with logistics-related projects including network optimization, warehouse layout improvements, and transportation management enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics cost analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and experience with ERP or financial systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
