Disaster Recovery Delivery Manager (Cloud)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 2/3 days on-site) Pay Rate: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour (W2 Only) Duration: 6 Months+ (Long-term potential) Start Date: May 4, 2026 Compliance: No C2C, Third Parties, or W2 Referrals
Role Overview: We are seeking two Disaster Recovery (DR) Delivery Managers (one Lead and one Mid-Level) to join our team supporting a major enterprise Datacenter build-out. These roles are responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of DR testing for applications hosted entirely in the cloud. You will ensure DR readiness, test effectiveness, and alignment with business resilience objectives within a high-stakes financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of cloud-based DR test events, including scope definition, scheduling, and post-test reporting.

Playbook Development: Develop and maintain cloud-specific DR test plans, runbooks, and execution playbooks for AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with application owners, cloud engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure total test readiness.

Execution & Triage: Lead DR "War Rooms," facilitating real-time issue triage and decision-making during failover/failback activities.

Compliance & Objectives: Ensure all tests align with defined RTO/RPO objectives, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Validation: Oversee testing of cloud-native services (databases, storage, networking, identity) and validate backup/replication mechanisms.

Reporting: Produce executive-level summaries and detailed post-test findings with clear remediation recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience:

Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience managing DR testing for applications hosted in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

DR Methodology: Deep understanding of the DR test lifecycle, including failover/failback and RTO/RPO validation.

Lead Experience: For the Lead role, experience acting as the primary point of accountability for large-scale or multi-application DR tests.

Communication: Ability to manage real-time issue triage in high-pressure "War Room" environments.

Resilience Tools: Experience with cloud-native recovery services and automated orchestration tools.
