Job Title: Venture Capital Analyst (Entry-Level)

Overview:
A growing venture capital firm based in New York City is seeking a driven and intellectually curious Analyst looking to break into the world of venture capital. This is an ideal opportunity for an entry-level professional eager to transition into investing, gain exposure to high-growth startups, and play a key role in evaluating emerging technologies and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify high-potential sectors and trends
- Source and evaluate early-stage startup investment opportunities
- Perform financial analysis, including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and basic modeling
- Support due diligence processes, including founder calls and data analysis
- Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for internal decision-making
- Track portfolio company performance and support ongoing reporting
- Attend networking events, pitch sessions, and industry conferences in NYC
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, or a related analytical role
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
- Genuine interest in startups, technology, and venture capital
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Must be based in New York City or willing to relocate immediately
Nice to Have:
