6. Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification. A diploma or certification in inventory management or supply chain is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory control role.
- Strong knowledge of storekeeping procedures and inventory control practices.
Experience
- Previous hands-on experience in warehouse or store operations.
- Experience in receiving, storing, and issuing materials in a structured inventory system.
- Familiarity with inventory reconciliation and stock auditing processes.
Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and related software.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal departments and suppliers.
