Job Summary:
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing and controlling materials across EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, including civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes. The role ensures efficient material handling, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with company policies and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and regularly update materials databases to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Oversee the receipt of materials, ensuring proper inspection and documentation.
- Ensure all materials are correctly bagged, tagged, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
- Issue materials to relevant departments/projects while maintaining proper records.
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory control processes.
- Coordinate shipping, logistics, and delivery schedules with suppliers and project teams.
- Follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, project, and site teams to meet project material demands.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in EPC projects (civil, electrical, and mechanical).
- Strong knowledge of material handling, warehousing, and inventory systems.
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in database management and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
