We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to join our ST Warehousing team. We are an enterprise solutions provider that seamlessly integrates systems connectivity and warehouse logistics services at scale, offering brands the simplest and most cost-effective way to launch, build and grow profitable multi-channel sales on the largest U.S. marketplaces. This role plays a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, and expansion, while also driving organizational transformation through data-driven decision-making, process innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight of warehouse and logistics operations.
- Manages a team of Warehouse Associates.
- Maintains clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all warehouse activities including Inbound, Outbound, B2B shipments, B2C shipments, 3PL activities, Returns.
- Significant experience with WMS and ERP systems.
- Experience in driving warehouse and logistics strategy, procurement, carrier selection, and service(s) to align with business strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Partner with Finance to build data-driven models to support strategic decisions (space optimization, workforce planning, rate cards, etc.).
- Evaluate operational performance metrics such as order accuracy, on-time shipment rates, labor utilization, and cost per order to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement and monitor warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Maintain oversight of workplace safety programs, ensuring all facilities meet compliance standards and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Supervise daily order release and prioritize picking waves for efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy of picks through verification processes and scanning systems.
- Creates and produces a series of reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet department goals.
- Exercise independent judgement when faced with ambiguity.
- Measure and set productivity goals and holds their team accountable for achieving goals.
- Establish and track KPIs related to cost, service, resilience, inventory, and performance.
- Influence executive decision-making through clear communication of tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive warehouse profitability by maintaining accurate inventory counts, maximizing inventory turns, and minimizing waste.
- Monitor labor and material costs against established budgets and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure cycle counts and full inventory audits are conducted accurately and on schedule.
- Partner with the VP of Operations on warehouse expansions and long-term logistics strategy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and fact-based execution.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in logistics and distribution specifically warehouse operations
- Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
- Experience in deploying automation and advanced analytics initiatives in logistics and warehousing.
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and data integrity.
- Solution Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to find innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
