Your new role
As the Regional Lead for Logistics & Vendor Management Manager, you will own end-to-end governance and performance of maritime logistics service providers across Asia Pacific. You will lead operational execution for Logistics Carriers, Tank Container Operators (TCOs), Flexitank, and Bulk Parcel categories, ensuring consistent service excellence, strong compliance, and alignment with global logistics strategy. You will act as a key interface between regional operations and global logistics, procurement, and supply chain teams, translating global contracts and strategies into effective regional execution. This role requires decisive leadership in vendor management, crisis response, service recovery, and continuous improvement, while driving collaboration, standardisation, and innovation across countries and business units.
What you'll need to succeed
- Lead end-to-end operational vendor management for maritime logistics services across Asia Pacific, including Maritime Carriers, TCOs, Flexitanks, and Bulk Parcel operations, ensuring alignment with global logistics and procurement strategies.
- Operationalise global contracts through strong governance, onboarding, compliance, performance monitoring, and execution discipline to achieve service, cost, and sustainability objectives.
- Own regional service excellence by managing carrier performance via KPIs, cost benchmarks, allocation fulfilment, and compliance, while acting as the primary escalation point for critical operational issues.
- Serve as the regional focal point for global maritime crisis management, business continuity planning, and coordinated response to shipping disruptions.
- Drive regional and global process optimisation by identifying structural improvement opportunities, resolving performance gaps, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across import/export and maritime workflows.
- Develop and embed standardised SOPs, best practices, and data-driven, digital solutions to enhance transparency, resilience, and cross-country operational consistency.
