About the Role
We are a growing trucking operation built around a POD system, where each dispatcher is responsible for a dedicated group of trucks, drivers, and day-to-day operations.
This is not a basic dispatcher role.
Each POD Manager is responsible for the full performance of their POD, including:
- Dispatching and revenue generation
- Driver management and communication
- Driver onboarding and truck setup
- Periodic truck checks and yard presence
- Helping ensure the fleet is being maintained properly
- If you have experience in trucking operations, dispatch, brokerage, and fleet management, and you want to own the outcome of a 10-truck operation, this role offers strong upside and real responsibility.
POD Structure
Each POD includes:
- 10 drivers
- 11 trucks total
- 1 backup truck
- You will be the primary point of accountability for your POD.

- Communicate with brokers, shippers, and drivers in a fast and professional manner
- Manage day-to-day driver needs, schedules, and expectations
- Provide timely updates and ensure load tracking is handled properly
- Meet drivers at the yard when needed for truck setup and onboarding
- Help onboard new drivers into trucks and make sure they are properly set up for success
- Periodically inspect trucks and put eyes on equipment to ensure drivers are maintaining them properly
- Coordinate with ownership on maintenance concerns, truck readiness, and fleet standards
- Take ownership of overall POD performance with minimal owner involvement
Performance Expectations
- Fast response times
- Strong broker communication
- High truck utilization
- Little to no dead time between loads

- Compensation aligned with POD performance and operational ownership

- Someone who understands that this role includes both desk work and field involvement
Who This Role Is Not For
- Entry-level dispatchers
- People who only want to book loads

How to Apply
Send your resume and a short note including:
