Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. This position plays a key role in coordinating supply chain operations, managing exports, and ensuring seamless communication between farmers, gins, transporters, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day supply chain operations with farmers, gins, and trucking partners
- Manage export logistics and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations
- Collaborate with customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Maintain strong communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Drafting and Negotiation: Preparing contracts, analyzing terms, and negotiating with internal and external parties.
- Problem Resolution: Acting as the main point of contact to resolve disputes related to deliverables, payments, or performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Presenting contract information, risks, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Some Administrative Duties will also be required
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience in supply chain management and export processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to custom inventory systems
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience in the textile or agricultural industry is a plus
- Speaking Spanish a plus but not required
