A private equity-backed international manufacturer and installer of bespoke luxury home improvement products is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join its senior US leadership team. With an established heritage, premium market positioning, and ambitious growth plans, the business serves discerning residential customers through a highly tailored product and delivery model that combines hand-made manufacturing, complex logistics, and high-quality project execution.
This is a broad COO-style remit within a PE-backed growth environment, offering the opportunity to take on a joint number one leadership role in the US business, working alongside the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead overall country performance in a strategically important market. Reporting directly to the Board and Managing Director in the UK, the VP of Operations will hold executive responsibility for the full operational platform of the US business, ensuring seamless coordination from production planning through to customer fulfilment and final installation.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead a broad operational remit, including:
- Full operational leadership across the US business, covering manufacturing coordination, logistics, warehousing, and customer fulfilment
- Oversight of project delivery and installation execution, ensuring premium service standards across bespoke customer orders
- Strategic planning across capacity, forecasting, supply chain, inventory, and operational resource allocation
- Continuous improvement of systems, processes, and operational infrastructure to support growth and scalability
- Leadership visibility across national operations, including regular travel across the US to operational sites, project locations, and key business activities
The role requires a leader who can operate strategically while maintaining strong control of execution in a business where product quality, customer experience, and delivery precision are central to commercial success.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced senior operations leader who can demonstrate:
- Proven executive leadership within a manufacturing-led or project-based operational environment
- Strong experience across logistics, fulfilment, installation, or complex delivery operations
- Commercial awareness and confidence operating at board level
- Experience scaling operational capability within a growth-focused business
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, investor-backed environment
- Strong judgement across planning, execution, and operational problem-solving
- Experience within premium high-ticket consumer products, luxury home improvement, or construction-related services
- Willingness and ability to accommodate regular national travel as an inherent part of the role
