Project Manager – Commercial Construction - Atlanta, Georgia - Up to $160,000 + Bonus
Our client, a respected General Contractor in the Southeast, is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee major commercial projects in the Atlanta metro area. This role will drive on-site operations from groundbreaking to completion across complex mixed-use, healthcare, office, and institutional developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all field operations on large-scale commercial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality
- Develop and manage schedules, coordinating subcontractors and trades to meet key milestones
- Oversee site logistics, sequencing, and daily activities across complex, multi-phase projects
- Partner with Project Managers to align field execution with budgets, procurement, and project strategy
- Supervise and mentor field staff, while leading subcontractor meetings and tracking progress
- Maintain quality control, enforce safety compliance, and resolve field issues to minimize delays
- Manage inspections, punch lists, and closeout to ensure timely project completion
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven Superintendent experience with a General Contractor on large-scale commercial projects valued at $50M–$100M+
- Strong background managing complex, ground-up builds in sectors such as healthcare, mixed-use, and large commercial developments
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and multi-trade field coordination
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents accurately
- Experience with project scheduling and field management software such as Procore or similar platforms
- Strong leadership, communication, and real-time problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with the Atlanta construction market is preferred; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus
