Servers.com, an international hosting provider, is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join us due to the extension of the Service Delivery team.
Key tasks
- Planning the allocation and storage of equipment and components in the warehouse, taking into account their characteristics and needs.
- Determining the optimal level of equipment and component inventory to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Organizing the transportation of equipment and components between our locations.
- Developing optimal delivery routes considering cost, time, and cargo characteristics.
- Tracking and controlling delivery schedules, addressing emerging issues and delays.
- Providing remote support services and hosting related activities to customers.
- Conducting an analysis of logistic processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Developing and implementing improvements in logistic operations with the aim of increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements
- English: Intermediate level or higher (effective written and verbal communication).
- Russian: Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Attentive to details, able to search and analyze information.
- Basic understanding of server hardware components.
- Experience with Insight, Jira will be a plus.
- Valid US work authorization.
