Associate Project Manager
Willo Products Company is an established company with a long history and an excellent track record in the corrections market. Willo specializes in the renovation of locking and door control systems in existing jails and prisons across the U.S. Willo has developed and patented a variety of products that meet the unique requirements of correctional facilities. Our products are designed to improve safety for both inmates and staff. Managing our projects from the point of sale to the close-out documents is a challenging task that is crucial to our success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple projects from award of business to final closeout.
- Create and manage the master project schedule, driving team progress to the schedule.
- Verifying Willo and subcontractor designs and concepts meet the as-sold scope of work
- Manage the project submittal process with the Project Engineer, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Coordinate internal resources and contract manufacturers, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Manage the relationship with the customer and all project stakeholders.
- Establish, manage, and coordinate installation schedule with customer. Coordinate installation with the Field Installation Manager.
- Tracking of project budgets, ensuring each phase of the project is within plan, identifying and mitigating risks to the project’s success.
- Main point of contact between Willo and Customers.
- Regular reporting on job progress and costs to management.
- Managing subcontractors that support the Willo installation.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate project teams
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- Strong negotiating skills
- Pass background checks and pass a drug screening
- Up to 30% travel, but based out of the Decatur, AL office
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
