$85k to Senior level $125k a year depending on experience.
A full-service Design Studio specializing in innovative graphic and brand design. With a focus on thoughtful strategy and distinctive visual storytelling, the studio partners with businesses and organizations to elevate their identity across print and digital platforms. Rooted in a balance of aesthetic clarity and purposeful design, delivering impactful solutions that resonate with audiences and strengthen brand presence is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Pacoima.
Summary: The Project Manager oversees design and fabrication projects from proposal through close-out, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, consultants, vendors, and installation partners, with a strong focus on organization, communication, and financial accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects with a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and client service.
- Act as primary client liaison, gathering and managing project requirements, schedules, scope, and site constraints.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and job status tracking for drafting, review, fabrication, and installation.
- Coordinate and oversee internal drafting teams, consultants, engineers, vendors, and outsource partners.
- Review drawings, shop details, engineering, and fabrication documents; provide redlines and approvals as required.
- Lead estimating and proposal development, including scope definition, pricing, value engineering, and revisions.
- Track budgets, job costs, change orders, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate material procurement, installation scheduling, and daily communication with installation teams.
- Conduct site visits as required during project initiation, installation, and close-out.
- Identify opportunities for additional scope, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Support project close-out activities including invoicing, job costing, and final documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing design, fabrication, or build-out projects in a design-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of design documentation, production drawings, and fabrication processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen related to estimating, budgeting, and job costing.
