Resource Label Group is seeking a results-driven Regional Director of Operations to lead operations across multiple key manufacturing sites. This role will focus on standardizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving profitability while fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with a track record of success in high-volume, low-margin manufacturing environments. This leader will drive strategic initiatives, improve asset utilization and lead cultural transformation to enhance performance and scalability. Responsibilities:
- Oversee P&L for multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring profitability, cost management, and sustainable growth.
- Drive standardization and structure by implementing best practices across all sites to enhance consistency and operational alignment.
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor and drive plant performance, including safety, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize asset utilization.
- Continuously identify and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce downtime, and enhance manufacturing capabilities while preparing for future growth.
- Drive the adoption of technology solutions such as ERP, MES, and other digital tools for operational optimization.
- Ensure manufacturing operations are aligned with customer expectations, delivering high quality, reliable, and responsive service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing operations with broader business goals.
- Champion change management initiatives, fostering a high-performance, accountable workforce while mentoring and developing leadership teams to build strong succession pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing, including proven ability to manage multi-site P&L responsibility.
- Strong background in high-volume, low-margin manufacturing; packaging or printing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in managing complex, matrixed organizations and working cross-functionally to deliver business outcomes.
- Ability to travel 50-75% to oversee and manage site operations.
