Our client develops advanced semiconductor capital equipment that powers the technologies shaping modern life—from smartphones and cloud computing to AI, AR/VR, and high‑performance communications. They're seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and drive the seamless transition of complex, precision‑engineered systems from design into scalable, high‑quality production.
Overview
In this role, you’ll ensure manufacturability, mitigate early risks, and develop robust processes that support volume production. You’ll work cross‑functionally with design, test, and supply chain teams to optimize product readiness, improve manufacturing efficiency, and resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead NPI activities from design through volume production, managing engineering changes, validating processes, and optimizing BOMs and assembly workflows. Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure manufacturability, implement DFA/DFT best practices, and identify design risks early. Improve manufacturing processes and equipment, develop documentation for scalable builds, and support final test operations by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls issues with permanent corrective actions. Analyze and resolve technical problems using structured methods (Fishbone, 8D, SPC) and support new product launches at contract manufacturer sites.
