We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President of Technology to lead enterprise platform engineering, infrastructure, and application development across the organization. This executive role will define and execute technology strategy that enables innovation, operational excellence, and long-term business growth.
The VP of Technology will lead global engineering and infrastructure teams, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure enterprise technology platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy. This leader will champion cloud-first architecture, AI-enabled development, platform engineering, and DevSecOps transformation.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategic vision, operational execution, and team development while partnering closely with executive leadership to advance the organization’s digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Executive Leadership
- Define and execute enterprise technology strategy aligned with company goals and long-term business objectives
- Lead global engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams across multiple business units
- Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align technology investments with organizational priorities
- Drive enterprise modernization initiatives to improve scalability, agility, and operational efficiency
- Establish performance metrics, operational scorecards, and financial targets for technology organizations
Platform Engineering & Enterprise Infrastructure
- Oversee enterprise platform engineering initiatives that enable reusable, secure, and scalable technology capabilities
- Lead global infrastructure operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and resilience across systems
- Establish enterprise-wide standards for platforms, infrastructure, and development practices
- Improve developer productivity through internal developer platforms, automation, and modern tooling
Cloud & Modern Architecture
- Define cloud strategy including public cloud adoption, hybrid architectures, and cost optimization
- Prioritize cloud-native and SaaS solutions to modernize enterprise systems
- Promote modern architecture patterns including microservices, API-driven development, and event-driven systems
AI, Automation & DevSecOps
- Champion the use of AI-enabled development tools and automation across the engineering lifecycle
- Lead DevSecOps transformation to embed security, compliance, and automation into delivery pipelines
- Implement hyper-automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability
Data, Observability & Security
- Drive enterprise data platform strategy, including data pipelines, governance, and real-time analytics capabilities
- Implement observability frameworks to improve system reliability and proactive incident management
- Embed cybersecurity and Zero Trust principles across infrastructure and application architecture
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM) to ensure secure and compliant access across systems
Talent Development & Organizational Leadership
- Lead and mentor directors, managers, and engineering leaders across global teams
- Build and execute hiring strategies to attract and retain top technology talent
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Guide organizational change initiatives and agile transformation efforts
Qualifications
Leadership & Strategic Experience
- Proven executive leadership experience driving enterprise technology strategy
- Experience leading large, distributed engineering or infrastructure organizations
- Strong ability to influence executive stakeholders and communicate complex technology initiatives
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and SaaS ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with modern architecture patterns including microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Strong background in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering practices
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and large-scale system integrations
AI, Automation & Modern Engineering Practices
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and automation platforms
- Knowledge of AI-driven observability and operational intelligence platforms
- Experience implementing automation frameworks such as RPA, AI-Ops, or ChatOps
Security & Compliance
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, Zero Trust architectures, and compliance requirements
- Experience embedding security and governance throughout the software development lifecycle
Experience & Education
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise technology leadership
- 5+ years leading large technology organizations or enterprise engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Advanced degree preferred
