Position Title: Logistics Supervisor / Delivery Manager (USA)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven North America Logistics Supervisor to oversee the company’s logistics and supply chain operations across the United States. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of logistics management, customs regulations, and international trade, and be highly familiar with fulfillment standards for major retail channels such as Walmart, Target, Costco, and Sam's Club. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination skills to ensure goods are delivered safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Management
1.1 Oversee the entire import and domestic U.S. logistics process from port of entry to final delivery.
1.2 Maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), drayage companies, and last-mile delivery partners.
1.3 Optimize transportation routes and modes (truckload, intermodal, etc.) to balance cost and transit time.
1.4 Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance, accurate HS code classification, and full compliance with U.S. import regulations.
1.5 Manage all transportation documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and ISF filings.
2. Warehouse Management
2.1 Collaborate with warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels, manage inventory transfers, and supervise fulfillment accuracy.
2.2 Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations at third-party logistics warehouses.
3. Retail Channel Order Fulfillment
3.1 Ensure all shipments strictly comply with transportation guidelines, labeling requirements, and compliance standards of Walmart, Target, Costco, and Sam's Club.
3.2 Schedule delivery appointments with retailer distribution centers and handle chargeback/fine disputes related to logistics errors.
3.3 Stay up to date with evolving compliance policies of major retailers.
4. Cost Management
4.1 Oversee accrual and settlement of logistics service provider expenses.
5. Exception Handling & Crisis Management
5.1 Proactively identify potential risks of delays or disruptions (e.g., port congestion, carrier issues, customs inspections) and develop contingency plans.
5.2 Resolve in-transit issues promptly, including cargo damage and shortages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; majors in Logistics Management, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of logistics management experience, including experience in multinational corporations or international logistics companies.
- Familiarity with leading North American logistics providers; understanding of warehouse leasing price trends and in-warehouse service costs; strong market analysis capability.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and team management skills; ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese required.
- Proficient in logistics management systems and office software, such as SAP, WMS, and OMS.
