Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Transportation Logistics Manager, located in Florida, United States. The Transportation Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate transportation and logistics operations for events, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources. Day-to-day tasks include planning and managing transportation schedules, coordinating with vendors, supervising the logistics team, resolving any delivery-related issues, and maintaining adherence to budgets and timelines. The role requires ensuring compliance with safety regulations and effectively communicating with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Logistics Management, Transportation Planning, and Supply Chain Coordination
- Proficiency in Project Management, Problem Solving, and Decision-Making
- Excellent Communication, Leadership, and Team Management skills
- Ability to analyze data and optimize transportation plans for efficiency
- Familiarity with transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in event logistics or a similar role is a strong advantage
- Flexibility to work on-site and manage operations within the Florida area
