Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (DOE)
Position Summary
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, profitability, and exceptional internal and external customer service. This role requires strong leadership, inventory control expertise, and a deep understanding of Porsche standards, processes, and dealership operations. The Parts Manager works closely with Service, Sales, and Accounting to support overall dealership success while maintaining compliance and brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead all aspects of the Parts Department, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, stocking, obsolescence management, and cycle counts
- Ensure accurate receiving, posting, pricing, and billing of parts
- Maintain strong relationships with Porsche representatives and vendors
- Monitor department KPIs including gross profit, inventory turns, fill rate, and shrinkage
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to support repair operations and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with Porsche policies, warranty requirements, and dealership procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department environment
- Handle customer escalations and internal concerns promptly and professionally
- Prepare and review monthly reports, forecasts, and inventory analyses
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of Porsche Parts Department leadership experience in an automotive dealership (Porsche experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of dealership DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, or equivalent)
- Proven experience with inventory management, controls, and reconciliation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and commitment to customer service
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Porsche dealership experience
- Familiarity with Porsche parts systems and manufacturer standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
