Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support our aerospace precision manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement, product integrity, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product and process data to improve quality and performance.
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (AS9100).
- Lead APQP activities, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and AS9102 FAIR.
- Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and MRB reviews.
- Develop and audit inspection plans, test procedures, and work instructions.
- Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Promote a “Zero Defects” and “Right First Time” culture.
- Support Operational Excellence (OPEX) and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
- 5+ years of aerospace quality engineering experience (flight-critical preferred).
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, SPC, PFMEA, and RCCA tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer requirement interpretation (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
