Job Summary:
As the Central Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you are instrumental in making sure warehouse operations are best in class and that shipping activity runs smoothly at Veo. We are looking for someone who loves logistics and finding new, better, faster ways to do things while also being an effective and proactive communicator. This role works out of Bell, CA and reports to the Strategic Planning Manager in Santa Monica HQ.
Responsibilities
- Lead management of Veo’s warehouse in CA (including inventory management of parts, equipment and vehicles)
- Manage and track all international and domestic shipments coming in and out of the central warehouses. Coordinate additional labor to support unloading and loading shipments as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage a team of warehouse associates in both the west coast and east coast warehouse.
- Schedule and manage all domestic FTL and LTL shipments. Support market operations by ensuring the market requests are fulfilled in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way.
- Perform monthly central warehouse hand count
- Address and resolve employee issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in developing SOPs, work instructions, and best practices. Implement and enforce operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Communications between multiple departments, leadership, and vendors using Slack email, text, and phone calls.
- Knowledge in shipping internationally and hazmat shipping.
- Manage standard warehouse purchase list, standard operating procedures and assets (e.g. warehouse signage)
- Lead monthly warehouse safety checks and audit process
Qualifications and Skills
- 8 or more years of experience in a warehouse leadership role
- Capable of operating forklift and pallet jack and lift up to 70 Lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate MS Excel or Google Sheets knowledge
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and safety standards.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) Google systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Compensation + Benefits
- Competitive Compensation Package that consists of a base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits.
- Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
- Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $75,000 - $90,000
