Freight Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international shipments (Import via Ocean)
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation including B/Ls, invoices, and customs paperwork
- Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to clients and resolving any issues
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Ocean freight forwarding or logistics (preferred)
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with freight forwarding software - Cargowise / CW1 ideally
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
