Since 1975, we have been a high-volume household goods manufacturer producing everyday consumer products such as cleaning supplies, storage solutions, and home organization items, sold through retail and wholesale channels. Our operations are built on reliability, efficiency, and consistent results. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing teams, oversee daily plant operations, and ensure smooth, predictable production.
In this role, you will drive execution on the factory floor while partnering closely with a technical leader focused on process improvement, equipment optimization, and quality management.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager is accountable for day-to-day plant operations, people leadership, and production flow. This role ensures staffing, schedules, and processes are aligned to meet volume, cost, safety, and delivery targets. The Operations Manager serves as the primary leader on the manufacturing floor and the first point of escalation for operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production planning and execution
- Lead and manage production staff, including staffing, training, and shift coordination
- Maintain smooth production flow and quickly address disruptions
- Ensure output targets are met while managing labor and operating costs
- Lead daily floor meetings and coordinate priorities across shifts
- Monitor and report key production metrics related to efficiency, waste, downtime, and throughput
- Promote a safe, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment
- Serve as the first escalation point for operational challenges
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance and risks

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years of experience managing production teams
- Background in high-volume or consumer goods manufacturing preferred
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence
- Ability to interpret production data and make real-time decisions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
