We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Executive Assistant to the CEO who thrives in a fast-paced NBA and live entertainment environment and who values collaboration, trust, and care in how work gets done.
This role is a partnership with the Chief of Staff and CEO, helping keep priorities aligned across basketball, business, and live events while ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a natural sense of urgency, with the ability to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead. You’ll report to the Chief of Staff and support the CEO through complex coordination, shifting priorities, and high-visibility moments—while helping uphold Player 15 Group’s culture and contributing to the memorable moments we create for fans, partners, and teammates.
What Will You Do:
- Act as a trusted point of contact between the Chief of Staff, CEO, internal teams, ownership, league officials, NBA partners, sponsors, media, and external stakeholders—showing up with professionalism, discretion, and high standards.
- Stay one step ahead of the CEO’s priorities by managing complex calendars, travel, and scheduling across games, practices, events, concerts, league meetings, and business needs.
- Plan and run the logistics for meetings, game days, concerts, and special events, from agendas and materials to hospitality, credentials, transportation, and follow-up, making sure every detail meets a high standard.
- Support the CEO during games and major events as needed, ensuring smooth coordination, timely information, and a consistently professional presence.
- Manage administrative work with accuracy and care, including travel, expense reports, document organization, and department resources.
- Use good judgment and confidence when making decisions with limited supervision, including vendor coordination, purchase approvals, and representing Player 15 Group at events when appropriate.
- Serve as a communication hub, screening calls and messages, prioritizing what matters most, and responding with clarity, urgency, and thoughtfulness.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional workstreams with flexibility and focus, staying calm and effective as priorities shift in a live-event environment.
- Contribute to Player 15 Group culture by collaborating across teams, supporting training and community efforts, and stepping in to support other Executive Assistants when needed.
What We Need From Our Executive Assistant to the CEO:

- Proven experience supporting c-suite or senior leaders in fast-paced environments such as sports, entertainment, hospitality, or similar settings.

- A strong sense of urgency and ownership, with the ability to anticipate needs, stay responsive, and take initiative.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a live, event-driven environment.
- Clear and effective communicator; comfortable writing, speaking, and engaging with executives, partners, and external audiences.
- Calm, flexible, and solutions-focused under pressure, especially during games, concerts, and live events.
- A mindset of continuous improvement, always looking for ways to work smarter, improve processes, and elevate executive support.
- Reliable, hardworking, and proud to contribute to a high-performing NBA and entertainment organization.
- Comfortable using tools like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Zoom, and Slack, with the curiosity and confidence to learn new systems as needed
Experience/ Education Requirements: - Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience providing direct, high-level support to a c-suite or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-profile organization.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted partner, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism while managing sensitive and confidential matters
- Preferred:
- Experience supporting multiple senior executives and/or C-suite leaders within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Five (5) or more years of experience managing complex calendars, travel, and logistics across internal teams, external partners, and multiple locations.
- Prior experience in professional sports, arena operations, live entertainment, hospitality, or a similar event-driven industry.
- Comfort operating in environments with extended hours, non-traditional schedules, and live-event demands
