Job Overview
We are a medium sized Electrical Contractor in Madison Co seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from conception to completion. We primarily work around Central Indiana on Commercial, Institutional, K-12, and Light Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical project management. This role requires organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties
- Lead and manage multiple electrical projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors on a project.
- Electrical estimating.
- Business development.
- Labor management.
- Purchasing/ Job material buy-outs.
- Reviewing job costs and completing WIP reports.
- Monitor project efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and review contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical project management or construction management.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and standards related to electrical installations.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools and software, including Bluebeam for document management.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in construction estimating processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
