Description
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and operational performance of the technology infrastructure supporting the casino and hospitality enterprise. This position oversees servers, networks, storage, telecommunications, and related systems to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with gaming and regulatory standards. The Manager leads infrastructure staff, coordinates system support activities, oversees vendor work, and ensures that core technology services meet property needs in a 24/7 operational environment. This role partners closely with other IT teams and property departments to support critical business systems across multiple casino and hospitality locations.
Requirements
- Manage the daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networks, storage, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Oversee troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution of system performance issues, outages, and service interruptions.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure systems across all casino and hospitality locations.
- Support disaster recovery readiness, backup processes, and system failover testing.
- Collaborate with the IT security team to implement security controls, user access standards, and cybersecurity procedures.
- Monitor infrastructure performance metrics, system logs, and capacity thresholds to maintain optimal system health.
- Coordinate vendor and service provider activities, including system repairs, upgrades, and technical support.
- Lead infrastructure projects such as hardware upgrades, network improvements, and system enhancements.
- Assist with budgeting input and procurement of infrastructure equipment, software, and support services.
- Ensure IT infrastructure supports the operational needs of Gaming, F&B, Hotel, Racetrack, Finance, HR, and other departments.
- Supervise and develop infrastructure team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, asset inventories, and support records.
- Support audits and regulatory reviews related to gaming systems, PCI-DSS, data security, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to recommend improvements, emerging needs, or risks related to infrastructure.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Seven or more years of applicable IT infrastructure experience, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory or lead role; bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of experience and education.
- Strong knowledge of data center operations, networking, server administration, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
- Familiarity with casino and hospitality technologies including CMS, PMS, POS, HRIS, and financial platforms.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements including gaming technology compliance, PCI-DSS, and data privacy standards.
- Strong vendor coordination, task oversight, and project execution skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a 24/7 hospitality environment.
- Proficiency with infrastructure monitoring tools, enterprise management platforms, and cloud/hybrid systems.
- Must maintain or obtain a valid state gaming license as required by jurisdiction.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support system maintenance and emergency response.
- May require travel between multiple casino or hospitality properties.
