Who We're Seeking
We are looking for a proactive, accuracy-focused Global Logistics Specialist to become part of our Supply Chain organization. This foundational position is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in international transportation and gain practical insight into end-to-end global operational workflows.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and maintain shipment documentation while ensuring full adherence to customs rules and international trade policies
- Monitor the movement of domestic and overseas freight in real time and update internal platforms with precise delivery forecasts and status changes
- Function as the main liaison with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and vendors to maintain on-time execution
- Troubleshoot transportation obstacles and elevate critical issues when necessary
- Preserve organized, accurate records of shipping activities, invoices, duties, tariffs, and compliance paperwork
- Work collaboratively with internal teams-including Warehousing, Customer Support, Merchandising, and Finance-to ensure smooth logistical operations
- Identify opportunities to refine procedures, enhance workflow efficiency, and reduce operational costs
- Assist in planning and coordinating multi-channel import/export shipments across air, sea, and ground
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or a similar discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 0-2 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain exposure (internships or co-ops accepted)
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong eye for detail
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- Solid command of Microsoft Office-particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems is advantageous
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-velocity environment and consistently meet deadlines
- Genuine interest in international trade, customs practices, freight management, and global transportation networks
