The US Retail Logistics Lead oversees and optimizes the end-to-end logistics processes between the US warehouse and retail stores, ensuring all product movements are executed with precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
This includes managing inbound and outbound shipments including store replenishments, new collection launches, damages, returns and packaging supply flows.
They will work with warehouses to ensure strong partnerships that drive service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across all logistics providers. The US Retail Logistics Lead acts as the primary liaison between warehouses, retail operations, and cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination and efficiencies.
As the business expands, this position plays an important part in scaling logistics processes, supporting new store openings, and driving operational enhancements to strengthen the retail supply chain across the US region.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Warehouse Operations
- Lead daily logistics operations between the US warehouse, retail stores, and third-party logistics partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with warehouse partners to ensure service excellence and adherence to SLAs.
- Oversee inbound and outbound flows including replenishment, new collection deliveries, packaging supply distribution, damages, and returns.
- Monitor warehouse performance and proactively address service gaps or inefficiencies.
- Coordinate all logistics requirements for new store openings, including initial stock, back-of-house equipment, and non-saleable deliveries.
Inventory & RFID Management
- Ensure compliance with inventory and RFID processes for receiving, transfers, and customer shipments.
- Partner with warehouse teams to investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, ensuring accurate data in NetSuite.
- Support cycle counts and stock take preparation, driving accuracy and transparency.
- Maintain best practices for damage documentation and product movement tracking.
Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Use NetSuite and RFID systems to monitor, reconcile, and report on shipments, receipts, and inventory movements.
- Support store teams with RFID troubleshooting and ensure adherence to sending/receiving workflows.
- Maintain logistics trackers, SOPs, and documentation to ensure consistency and visibility across the business.
- Communicate key updates and shipment information to retail teams through Zipline.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize logistics processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update catalogue items within the ordering platform to support store back-of-house organisation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the key point of contact for logistics and shipments for US retail stores, ensuring clear and timely communication on all deliveries and shipments.
- Partner closely with merchandising, retail operations, finance to align stock movements with commercial and operational plans.
- Flag stock accuracy or loss prevention concerns to finance and inventory control teams.
- Collaborate with new store openings teams on supply needs for new locations.
- Train and support store teams on logistics processes, systems, and inventory control standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in retail logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination; multi-location experience preferred.
- Proven success managing warehouse or 3PL partners.
- Hands-on experience with RFID systems and NetSuite.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with logistics platforms.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, capable of influencing warehouse partners and supporting multi-region retail teams.
- Highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, global retail environment.
- Flexibility to work across US/UK time zones and travel for warehouse visits, store support, and project rollouts.
