About this Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Resident to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in fashion operations, logistics, and supply chain processes. The Shipping & Logistics Resident will be responsible for maintaining accurate shipment records, supporting the flow of merchandise from order to delivery, and ensuring teams have clear visibility on product status. You’ll play a key role in keeping our showroom and inventory processes running smoothly while learning the ins and outs of fashion logistics.
Key Responsibilities
What You Will Own
- Maintain organized records of invoices and payment history.
- Create, manage and track all shipping labels.
- Review incoming shipments against finalized buysheets to confirm accuracy in quantities, styles, and details, calling out any discrepancies to team.
- Update delivery trackers and decks with accurate ETAs.
- Upload new items to inventory management systems (Launchmetrics formerly Fashion GPS).
- Receive shipments and log items into buysheet trackers, communicating deliveries with relevant teams.
What You Will Support On
- Monitor and track all shipments daily.
- Managing press and stylist delivery requests.
- Assist with tracking order and shipping budgets and expenses to ensure accurate reporting.
- Communicate significant delivery updates or delays to relevant teams.
- Log damaged items, gifting, write-offs, and other product adjustments, communicating these with relevant teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant internship/experience in logistics, supply chain, fashion operations, or related field (preferred, not required).
- Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable liaising with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides); experience with inventory management tools a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the fashion and logistics space.
