Role Description
This is a hybrid, full-time role for an Associate Director of Logistics based in Fairfield, OH, with some remote work flexibility. The role involves leading and managing logistics operations, including supply chain, procurement, warehouse operations, and transportation. Key responsibilities include optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, overseeing adherence to budgets, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products, and implementing best practices in logistics and procurement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management and Procurement to ensure effective sourcing and resource allocation.
- Strong capabilities in Operations Management and Logistics Management to oversee and streamline production and distribution processes.
- Experience in Warehouse Operations, including inventory management and materials handling practices.
- Proficiency with logistics and supply chain software and tools is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage teams and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
