Our client in Hudson, WI is seeking an assistant to the project manager.
This is a temporary to hire position. 8-5 M-F $15-$17 per hour to start.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with composing work orders and assigning to appropriate vendor.
- Assist with ensuring all work requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Make call ahead to technicians to confirm scheduling.
- Request deliverables and paperwork from technicians.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with technicians.
- Discuss Scope of Work with technicians to ensure they are capable of performing.
- Maintain written records of phone calls in database.
- Communicate with office staff regarding status of work orders.
- Conduct research to find new technicians in necessary areas.
- Request vendor paperwork and update once received.
- Assist with ordering materials when needed for projects.
- Assist Project Managers as needed.
- Assist Accounting Department as needed.
- General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing and emailing.
- Perform other related duties as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet. FileMaker knowledge a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Typing/computer processing skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
