Position Overview

As our Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing mechanical devices to laying out complete material handling systems crucial for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Perform full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
Improving existing products
Presenting design plans to managers and customers
Producing equipment layouts in 3D using Creo Parametric software
Producing installation drawings
Producing equipment layouts in 2D using Autodesk (CAD) software
Assisting with detailed system quotations using Microsoft Excel
Overseeing installation of systems (up to 10% Travel Required)

Position Compensation

Competitive salary commensurate with experience of $70-80K+, depending on experience

Position Requirements

BS Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
Must have 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a Mechanical Engineer
Experience in mechanical drawing/ 3D design work especially with Creo Parametric (ProE)
Experience with Autodesk (CAD)
Experience with FEA is a plus
High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to articulate mechanical concepts
Must be willing to travel on Domestic and International scale as needed
Commercial affinity – ability and experience to communicate effectively and directly with customers
Highly motivated and self-directed
Analytical thinker and problem-solver
Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
