VP of FP&A and Corporate Development

Position Summary
- The Vice President of FP&A and Corporate Development will serve a critical role in financial planning and analysis, serving as a key partner to the CFO and working closely with the private equity sponsor on M&A analysis.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis with a background working operationally underneath a CFO in an FP&A role. Additionally, strong candidates will also have some level of corporate development experience via investment banking / corporate development / transaction advisory.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- In conjunction with the CFO, lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Analyze financial results, key performance indicators, and variance drivers to support business leaders.
- Prepare management and board-level presentations that articulate financial performance and strategy.
- Support operational teams with data-driven insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Corporate Development / M&A
- Serve as a liaison with the private equity sponsor and the company to execute upon acquisition opportunities
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of experience, including roles in FP&A. Experience in investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisory a plus
- Background in private equity-owned businesses preferred
Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Advanced excel proficiency
- Role is hybrid local with 3-4 days/ week in-office
