Pacific International has been exclusively retained by a global leader in advanced materials to identify a Process Engineer who will drive process optimization, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement across a high-hazard manufacturing environment.
With a strong commitment to innovation and operational excellence, the company seeks a hands-on Process Engineer who can assess, optimize, and implement process improvements that enhance safety, maximize throughput, and ensure consistent, high-quality manufacturing performance. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on the site’s process capability, operational efficiency, and long-term technology roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge of the Line of Business technology to define and implement solutions for PSM, Grow and Improve projects.
- Leads or participates in front end loading of capital projects.
- Provides input into Business Technology Implementation Plan .
- Provides input into Multi-Generational Technology Plan.
- Lead or Participates in Process Hazards Analysis.
- First contact in Manufacturing Technology (MT) for advanced troubleshooting for Operations.
- Responsible for providing technical training and coaching to Operations Engineers and Technical staff.
- Provide required engineering support for Root Cause Investigations.
- Leads or supports raw material qualification or trials for new products.
- Technical solutions and documents validate results to drive toward a standardized Process Technology.
- Provides technical input for Management of Change.
- Lead or Participate in Project Reviews.
- Collaborates across MT, Operations, EH&S, R&D, etc.
Qualifications
- BS Chemical Engineering Degree
- 3+ years of manufacturing or related experience
- Line of business experience
- Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience
