Role Description
This full-time hybrid Logistics Coordinator role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely on some days. The Logistics Coordinator MUST speak Japanese and will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including managing supply chain operations, tracking inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products between our Japan office, Freight Forwarders, Customers, etc. The role also involves communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth processes and proactive problem-solving for any logistics challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to track, evaluate, and optimize logistics processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Experience in inventory and supply chain management, with knowledge of logistics software and best practices
- Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the beauty or sustainability industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant logistics tools
- Fluent in Japanese
