We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to be part of our US IT support team, working out of the Austin office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient resolution of issues related to IT infrastructure, software, and hardware. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to complete IT projects in a timely and effective manner. In-office attendance is mandatory and some employees will require remote support.
Duties:
- Respond promptly to help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software applications, and network connectivity.
- Ability to complete software migration projects.
- Configure and deploy laptops for employees (Manage Engine Endpoint Central, MDM, Zoho Directory).
- Document all interactions and resolutions in the help desk system for future reference (Manage Engine Service Desk Plus)
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current technologies and best practices in software troubleshooting and IT support.
- Physical ability to lift 30 pounds and setup employee desks. (Monitors, keyboards, UPS, etc.)
Basic Knowledge:
- Wifi configuration on mobile devices (phones and laptops)
- Familiar with using spreadsheets and data entry (Service Desk Plus, Asset Manager)
- Software installation processes and removal processes (Manage Engine Endpoint Central)
- Machine hardening and security best practices (Antivirus, Bitlocker, Filevault)
- Remote desktop Protocols and procedures (Zoho Assist, RDP, Manage Engine Endpoint Central)
- Network Protocols (DHCP,DNS,TCP/IP)
- Physical Access Control Systems and Processes
- Mac OS, Windows OS, Apple IOS
- CCTV - IP Camera Systems
- Basic Router and Network Switch Configuration
